We need to create an inspired timeless brand that replicated a sense of scale and history without prior existance or legacy.

It needed to reflect it's creators way of thinking and approach to burgers and the hospitality industry, successfully turning it up on it's head. 

We designed a graffiti inspired burger brand that is criminal yet beautiful.

With the use of symbolic hand lettering, street style naturalness, spontaneity and a sense of freedom - we built the charismatic Williamsburg brand.

The brand is engaging, youthful and free to adopt any burst of colour we choose to add at the time. It's approach and replication is one that "the burg" has taken on with both hands, brandishing their mark across anything they can. Walls, floors, stickers, cappuccinos. Our intention was to create a meaningful brand that would fast-track to notoriety as fast as it's owners could work. 

Since the concept of Williamsburg originated in 2016 KEO has been an integral part of building our brand, marketing and business. I have continued to work closely with the KEO for past three years and have always found them to be a dedicated, creative and professional team. They research, they plan, they communicate, and they understand the importance of brand awareness and what it takes to reach your clients in an ever changing environment. 

‘Snappy Hour’ was a marketing strategy to target a younger (teenager) audience to capitalise on the ever growing social media format Snapchat. KEO was able to create a QR code sticker where our patrons could simply take a photo and instantly become ‘friends’ of Williamsburg.

We placed these stickers throughout the restaurant and also had posters and a a-frame point of promotion. Through this campaign we were able to relate on a level specific to our audience. Social media has a huge influence and it was extremely important for Williamsburg to connect in a way that is out of the ‘norm’. SnapChat doesn’t allow you to see how many followers you have, but a specific math equation on the amount of ‘views’ per story gives us an approximate 2-3000 unique followers.
The Snappy Hour campaign has been extremely successful and our sales reflect this. I target specific promotions that are only available via this platform. It’s all about connecting to your audience to get them through your door. A simple story upload with a text line -screenshot for a 10% discount will see hundreds of dollars flow back into the business.

Williamsburg was the first business in Tamworth to do this on a larger scale, through KEO’s forward thinking and unique creativity we have built a large and interactive means of connectivity with our younger audience. It’s important to note that ‘Snappy Hour’ is one of our cheapest and most cost effective forms of advertising (it has zero ongoing expense). Now that is the by-product of a strategic team that understands your business and the importance of every single dollar you spend.

KEO have taught me the importance of thinking outside the box, to be different and unique, to do what others are not doing. They have helped me to capture what the Williamsburg brand is and to build it to a level of professionalism to be successful in such a competitive market.
