Recent Projects
October 12, 2008
Some exciting projects have been passing through KEO's doors recently. We have been working on two CD covers for Aaron Bolton's new release, due to come out in January 2009. One of these was the single, and the second is his album which will be available for purchase in Sanity and Big W stores.
Another one of these projects is a brand new website for Hill Lockart Architects. This website involves a fair bit of design and development as it needs to produce alot of flexibility for the client. This is a brand new site - which allows us to brand it from scratch. Exciting times! - the website is due to launch shortly and will be listed in Work Achieved shortly.

The Challenge
August 4, 2008
On Friday the 8th of August I will be giving a talk at the Small Business Breakfast about KEO Design. The talk is broken into two sections along with Graham Dooley from Challenge Disability Services.
I will be presenting a case study on the processes invloved in rebranding and the importance of smart, creative design to boost your business to the next level. It's definately something I would recommend you come and see. Please email me at nic@keodesign.com.au and I will send you out an invite. Hope to see you there.

Budgeting for your Website
July 22, 2008
One of the most important things to consider when developing a website is your budget. Not only do you need to set an amount for the development of your site, but you need to consider marketing it aswell. How will your target market know that your website exists?
Yes we use SEO (Search Engine Optimisation) to try to boost your level in Search Engines such as Google, Yahoo, Ninemsn. But what about advertising?
The worst thing you can do is spend a lot of money on a fresh contemporary website and just have it laying dormant on the internet amoung thousands of other competitors.
Think of it like a brochure, you have a beautiful brochure describing your business, it has images and text that strongly support and excite your potential clients. But you leave it sitting in your draw for no one to see. It's not working for you.
Try some advertising in magazines targeted at your customers or newspapers, radio and television. Spread the word that you have a new website and that it is something they need to see.
